1. What are the benefits of work-based training for employers?
   
   You're more likely to hang on to an apprentice when you train them on the job rather than risking them being "poached" by other companies when you send them to TAFE.


2. Will my workers need time off to go to TAFE, leaving me a staff member down at work?
   
   No. We bring the TAFE to you by providing the theoretical training and practical support via a qualified TAFE teacher at your worksite.


3. Why does training an worker in the workplace produce better skills outcomes?
   
   We provide a qualified training manager onsite with all the training resources required for high-quality training. It's like having a personal trainer motivating your workers to achieve higher goals!


4. Why is work-based training better?
   
   Your workers will learn 1-on -1 with a personal trainer and be supported on the job by your skilled staff. This is simply more effective than learning in a classroom of one trainer to 30 students.


5. Will trainers disrupt our work during busy times?
   
   Ascet Tech will always deliver flexible training sessions that suit your work schedule. No exceptions.


6. Why should I sign up my apprentice or trainee?
   
   For the right staff members, training is proven improve motivation and morale. Training your staff demonstrates a long-term commitment to employee. In addition the Federal government offers around $4000 in employer incentives to train eligible workers.


7. How does this method of training compare to traditional TAFE training?
   
   Traditionally, workers were taught their “trade” by a master craftsmen (1 on 1) rather than in a large classroom. Our work-based training supports the original model of trade training, because it works.


8. Wouldn't the cost of sending staff to TAFE be equivalent to Work-based training?
   
   No. There is approximately $25,000 hidden labour cost to the employer over 3 years for sending a staff member to TAFE for three hours per week.


9. Can you keep me informed of my workers training progress?
   
   Our work based option eliminates the hassle caused by term-based classroom training. You will be given a training plan and timetable so you know the exact times and days that your apprentice is expected to return assignments.


10. How do I know my employee is completing the work to a satisfactory standard?
    
    We provide regular feedback and performance review.


11. I have always sent my staff to TAFE. Why should I change?
